Nothing happens automatically, and nothing gets charged without your separate, explicit say-so first. Here's exactly what changes at month 13, in real numbers.

Hosting after month 12

Both website packages include a full year of managed hosting from launch — 365 days, not a rounded-down estimate. After that year, hosting becomes a recurring monthly charge: $9.99/month for Web Basics sites, $19.99/month for Business Website Bundle sites. But that charge does not simply start — it activates only after you separately authorize it, and that authorization has to show the amount, the billing interval, the start date, and how to cancel. No surprise charge, no auto-enrollment buried in fine print.

Domain renewal is a separate thing entirely

Domain renewal and hosting are billed on entirely different lines, and one matters a lot more depending on how you got your domain:

• If FAMtastic registered a new domain for you, year one included that registration. Year two's renewal is due prepaid, at whatever the actual registrar charges — that price is disclosed to you before you pay, because registry pricing varies by domain and isn't something FAMtastic marks up or guesses at in advance.
• If you connected a domain you already owned, there's no FAMtastic domain-renewal charge at all, ever. You keep renewing it directly with whoever you already register it through — that relationship never changes.

Cancelling is straightforward

Any recurring service here — hosting included — can be cancelled before your next billing date. Cancelling stops future charges. The period you've already paid for runs its course rather than being refunded partway through, but nothing rolls forward automatically after you cancel.

The point of separating these charges and requiring explicit authorization is simple: you should never be surprised by a bill you didn't knowingly agree to, and you should never pay a marked-up guess at a registrar price when the real number is knowable and disclosed instead.
